Assalamualaikum warahmatuLLAH and a very good day to all.
“ So set you (O Muhammad SAW) your face towards the religion of pure Islâmic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allâh Alone) Allâh’s Fitrah (i.e. Allâh’s Islâmic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalqillâh (i.e. the Religion of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not” (Quran Surah ar-Ruum :verse 30)
I am happy to inform all that our Site Office cleaner, Mr. Pradip Kumar Sah has given the syahadah , reverting him into a Muslim on 17th September 2007 (Monday afternoon) in front of Tn. Hj. Faiz and witnessed by myself and Mr. Azril Hanif. To all Muslim staff, despite Jabatan Agama Islam’s birocracy which is holding brother Pradip from officially becoming a Muslim, yet brother Pradip should therefore from now on be regarded as your brother regardless of his nationality, designation, race, etc. as all Muslim’s are brothers and equal in front of ALLAH God Almighty.
“The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islâmic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allâh, that you may receive mercy”
(Quran Surah al-Hujuraat :verse 10)
We also appreciate it if all Muslim brothers can lend a helping hand in educating him the teachings of Islam and also other necessary help, instead of keep on frightening him with the “khatan/sunat” issue, when some scholars of islam regards it as un-compulsory (refer to Yusuf al-Qaradhawi, Fikih Thaharah).
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The believers, in their love, mercy, and kindness to one another are like a body: if any part of it is ill, the whole body shares its sleeplessness and fever”
As we welcome the Ramadhan month, hopefully all Muslim staff will play their part in showing a good example of Islamic teachings and promoting the good way of Islamic life, instead of giving a negative view of islam to others. Let us follow the Quran and be more carefull in forwarding the emails we receive which usually is false in fact (e.g. the mineral water issue, etc.), while Islam has always teach us to check and re-check all information which we receive.
“O you who believe! If a rebellious evil person comes to you with a news, verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done.”
(Quran Surah al-Hujuraat :verse 6)
Let us pray that this Ramadhan festive will generate us all in becoming taqwa or the best and greatest persons which benefits to others, and our company, insyaALLAH.
“The believers, in their love, mercy, and kindness to one another are like a body: if any part of it is ill, the whole body shares its sleeplessness and fever” -Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.)
